So, Mel got me into this HBO series, Big Love, and I totally love it. The show is centered around a polygamist Mormon family in Utah who have to lie about their beliefs since polygamy is illegal. Throw in a very fundamentalist sect of polygamists, Juniper Creek, who live in their own compound (think Waco) and some very crooked business dealings and you've got a hit show.
It is currently in its second season and as Mel put it, "getting very intense." I watched most of season one On Demand and just did that again for season two. I am finally caught up and watched tonight's episode live. Very dramatic ending. I won't spoil it for you who haven't watched yet but this might be a fun show to discuss on a weekly basis. Mel, any input?

I'll get on board soon. I'm going to get rid of DirecTV and go to Comcast even though I'll have to pay an early termination fee. Then I'll have OnDemand, too!
I've never even heard of it. I don't have HBO, though.
It is a great show. When it first started last year, I was just looking to fill the Sunday night time slot while waiting for the Sopranos final season to begin. But I really liked the show, and now this season has been great and I'm hooked.
Kara, I was really surprised by last night's ending!
Kara: Are you ever going to add a new post?? Gosh! Idiot!!
Sounds like Mel knows more Napoleon Dynamite than she wants to admit!
Only because I've heard you guys so much.
"Napoleon, as if anyone could even know that..."
