It's customer appreciation week at Belmont- free general parking and free grandstand admission. So, we went. We had a terrible betting day, but it was still fun. Here are some pictures.
This horse won the race above. I almost bet on him. But almost only counts in, well, you know the rest.
This outdoor area is a nice spot for families. The playground is just behind this area and the concession stands and mutuel windows are close-by.

It looks like a beautiful track, and definitely family-friendly. Should we all plan a trip for Saratoga this summer?? Maybe Newi can fly up for a long weekend.
Saratoga is a must! Now that I live on the east coast again, I plan on going for sure.
