It is such a pretty house. Hard to believe that it has such a dark past. My friend just bought me the book (I've only seen the movies), so I'm looking forward to reading the story. I know there was talk that it was all a hoax. But maybe the hoax-talk was just a hoax to get people to stop driving by.
The original address was 112 Ocean Dr., but was later changed to #108. Again, probably to throw off spectators. You can see that they also switched out the famous-creepy-looking attic windows.

I saw a program about that town and how they hate the infamy of that house and people driving by and taking pictures...
