Memory Lane

On a trip to Connecticut yesterday, we did a drive-by shooting (photography, not guns) at Nana Emma's old house. Yes, that really is her old house! The large tree in the front yard has gone missing and the house has undergone some cosmetic surgery- new paint and possibly a new entrance(?). It looks cute. Different, but cute. Plus, the new owner's have a garden gnome. I approve. Sure brings back memories, though.

I sure miss that place... and Nana Emma, too!

Isn't it funny how a house can change with a new owners/new generations. It definitely looks different. Remember the wallpaper in the kitchen? Something tells me that probably went the way of the big tree in the front yard.

I wonder if our writings are still on the little attic/closet wall?

Thanks for the pics. It sure does look like a totally different place.

I still have to find that video I shot of the inside from the final days of Smith ownership. I shot everywhere--including the writings. Salem Blue Devils, 8-0, state champs, baby!

That's so funny, Jere. I'd love to see that!

I would, too! If you come across it we should play it at our next game night.

Okay, I'm gonna make a real attempt to find it. And make a DVD out of it, as it's currently on one of those little tapes that fits inside the special VHS tape.
